TÜV SÜD determined that Outrider's approach aligns with AVCF requirements and is well-suited to meet ISO 26262 and ISO 21448 standards, providing a foundation for integrating SOTIF and cybersecurity.
Outrider plans to begin commissioning its latest-generation driverless yard trucks with select enterprise customers in the second half of 2025, and is taking orders for 2026 and 2027 deployments. The system runs on Outrider-approved hardware from vendors including Nvidia, Orange EV, RH Sheppard, and Yaskawa, with safety-critical partners reviewing and approving the safety case for their products.
