Gebrüder Weiss extended its logistics terminal in Tbilisi, Georgia, by approximately 13,000 square meters, increasing its capacity in the Caucasus region. This is the third expansion since the center opened 12 years ago. With the latest addition, the facility now spans 142,000 square meters of warehousing, handling space, railway, parking, and open areas, supported by over 177 staff. The company invested €11.5 million in this phase, bringing total investment in the location to more than €25 million.
Gebrüder Weiss also plans to strengthen transport services across the Caucasus and ramp up collaboration with Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and other Central Asian countries, benefiting international key account customers. Over the past five years, the Georgian operation processed around 130,000 shipments weighing some 470,000 tons.
