RGo Robotics, a provider of artificial perception for mobile machines, and Theobroma Systems, a Cherry Group company, launched an integrated solution powered by RGo's Perception Engine on Theobroma's new Jaguar Single-Board Computer (SBC-RK3588-AMR). The Jaguar board is designed for advanced robotics applications, offering optimized connectivity, real-time processing, memory, and energy efficiency.

The solution targets a range of robots, including autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), automated guided vehicles (AGVs), and professional service robots in transportation, hospitality, and agriculture. It tracks robot pose, location, and heading with centimeter-scale accuracy, functioning reliably in dynamic, unstructured, or repetitive environments, indoors and outdoors, and on fast-moving machines like forklifts and tugger carts.

Jaguar incorporates Rockchip's RK3588 SoC with an octa-core CPU, Mali G610 GPU, and an NPU delivering up to 6 TOPS, supporting up to four MIPI CSI cameras. The integrated solution is said to be easily integrated, allowing manufacturers to upgrade to state-of-the-art visual perception quickly.
