LG Business Solutions USA unveiled the LG CLOi CarryBot family of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) at MODEX 2024 in Atlanta. Designed for warehouse use, the robots navigate complex floor plans and deliver payloads in customizable configurations, with workers handling loading and unloading.
The AMRs feature LG's advanced navigation platform, Wi-Fi connectivity, ergonomic design, and an intuitive fleet management system. The robots can reach speeds of 2.7 mph, run for 18.5 hours, and auto-dock for charging in 6 hours.
Two variants were introduced: a Mounting Type with two shelves (30x16.5 inches) and a Rolltainer Type with larger capacity (up to 29x19 inches). Both include a 9.2-inch touchscreen and barcode scanner holder. LG also previewed its P5G private 5G technology for dedicated robot networks.
