Nvidia announced that its Omniverse Cloud platform would be hosted on Microsoft Azure, expanding access to Isaac Sim, its robotics simulation and synthetic data generation (SDG) tool. This move enables global teams to collaborate remotely on building, training, and validating robots, with continuous integration and delivery for DevOps.
The full lineup of Jetson Orin modules is now in production, offering performance from 40 TOPS (Orin Nano) to 275 TOPS (AGX Orin) for edge AI and robotics. The Jetson Orin Nano Developer Kit delivers 80x the performance of the previous Jetson Nano, with 50x better performance per watt, supporting power-efficient entry-level robots and intelligent vision systems.
Adoption examples include Amazon using Omniverse for warehouse automation and BMW Group working with idealworks to test AMRs. Over 1 million developers and 6,000 customers have chosen Jetson, with more than 70 ecosystem partners offering Orin-based solutions.
